Day 8
Hung around in Seattle today. We went to the Space Needle, Experience Music Project, the Scifi Museum, Pike Place Market and did lots of shopping. Definitely a cool place.. I’m looking forward to more Seattle for the next several days :)
Day 7
Today was filled with lots of driving through the states of Montana, Idaho, and Washington, but we arrived in Seattle! We were pretty sick of driving so we decided to skip California and Oregon and head straight here, but I’m excited to spend a week in Seattle.

Day 6
Spent all day in Yellowstone. The park is huge and is packed with all kinds of cool things to do and see, way more than you can do in a day. We got the major spots though. I’ve posted all of the pictures on flickr.

Day 5
We arrived yesterday at Yellowstone! It’s really an amazing place; lots of wildlife, trees, snow, a really cold lake, and lots and lots of geothermal activity. More to come later… we’re headed back today :D
Day 4
Spent a lot of time today in South Dakota at Wall Drug, the Badlands, and Mount Rushmore. Tonight we’re in Gillette, Wyoming where I unfortunately have terrible Internet. More to come when the Internet gets better…

Minnesota was pretty flat, but was beautiful; filled with farms and windmills. We stopped in Sioux Falls, SD for lunch, which was ok, but mostly just odd. The drive through South Dakota started getting hilly and oddly billboardy. We stopped at the Corn Palace which...

Day 2
Today we did quite a bit of driving through Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Iowa stopping in Minnesota to sleep. Chicago looked very cool but the traffic was absolutely ridiculous so we decided not to stop there since we had no idea where we were going and didn’t want to deal with driving in the city. Rural Illinois was very scenic, however. We deviated from I-90 to take route 20 through...

Day 1
After getting off to a bit of a late start, we ended up driving from Rochester through most of Ohio and up to Ann Arbor, MI to visit Jason. Turns out University of Michigan is a really cool place… I’ll have to come back and visit in the day sometime. Oh and Bubble Tea is good but really hard to drink when there are way too many bubbles in it. :/ Tomorrow we’re planing on driving...

Roadtrip!
Now that I have my tickets to fly back from Seattle to Rochester, all I have to do is figure out how to get to Seattle in the first place.
